Chef Venus

I’ve spent the majority of my career as a Project Manager in the telecommunications industry, but my heart was always in the kitchen. I have had a passion for cooking since I was a little girl. While most 8 year-olds were mastering their PB&J skills, I was in the kitchen mastering crepes. As a working mother with three boys, I know how important a home cooked meal around the family table can be. I also know how difficult it can be find the time. 

In 2008 I took a leap of faith. I left the corporate world in order to pursue my culinary passions. I get to do something I love while bringing families back to the table. I provide delicious, healthy home cooked meals to my clients while giving them back precious time in their busy lives. 

I believe in using only the freshest of ingredients and in supporting local farmers. Many of my dishes are flavored with herbs and vegetables that I grow in my own organic garden.  I learned from my grandmother that even the simplest of dishes can taste amazing if you use only the best ingredients and cook slowly with love.
